Terms of Service

[General Provisions]Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service regulate the conditions and procedures for using the Mokpo National University website.

Article 2 (Effect of Terms)
These terms take effect when members are notified and agree to them upon joining the Mokpo National University website.

Article 3 (Modification of Terms)
Mokpo National University website may modify these terms, and the modified terms take effect when posted on the screen and notified to members.

Article 4 (Formation of Usage Contract)
When clicking the agree button below the terms of service during membership registration, this contract is considered to be formed with agreement to the terms.

Article 5 (Application for Use)
Membership registration is done by filling out the online application form, and prospective members must use their real names.

Article 6 (Acceptance of Membership)
When a prospective member applies online as in Article 5 through the Mokpo National University website's membership application form, the website immediately approves the membership and allows service use.

Article 7 (Rejection of Membership Application and Forced Withdrawal)
The Mokpo National University website may reject membership applications if someone applies using another person's identity.
Also, even after membership application has been approved, if false information is discovered or if a member damages the reputation of the Mokpo National University website or posts obscene or inappropriate content, membership may be forcibly terminated.

Article 8 (Member Obligations)
Members are responsible for managing their ID and password, and all matters arising from poor management and misuse are attributed to the member. Additionally, members may not illegally copy and distribute the Mokpo National University website's services, and in such cases will bear civil and criminal responsibility.

Article 9 (Mokpo National University Website Obligations)
The Mokpo National University website does not disclose member information related to service provision to others without the member's permission.
However, exceptions are made when there is sufficient grounds to determine that personal information must be disclosed to take legal action against those who violate the educational web's terms of service or use the educational web's services to cause legal harm to others or commit acts that harm public morals.
Even in these cases, information is not provided to individuals but only to investigative agencies according to established procedures.

Article 10 (Service Hours)
The Mokpo National University website's internet service operates 24 hours a day, year-round.
However, service may be temporarily suspended due to equipment maintenance or operational reasons.
In such cases, the Mokpo National University website will notify members through prior notice.

Article 12 (Jurisdiction)
In case of disputes between the Mokpo National University website and members, the court with jurisdiction over the location of the Mokpo National University website shall have jurisdiction.

[Supplementary Provision]
These terms are effective from September 1, 2015.

B. Personal Information Processing and Retention Period

In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay when the purpose of processing personal information is achieved.
When a member withdraws their membership online, all data is deleted immediately upon withdrawal.

C. Right to Refuse Consent and Consequences of Refusal

Users have the right to refuse consent to the collection of personal information by the "Mokpo National University Portal",
and if consent is refused, membership registration and some Mokpo National University Portal services will be restricted.

[Single Sign-On (SSO) Service Policy]

The Single Sign-On service (hereinafter referred to as SSO service) is a shared member login information service
that allows use of online services on relevant sites without separate login (institutional authentication procedures)
between sites implemented within the portal system.

For this purpose, member information can be integrated and managed between the portal and sites where SSO service is implemented,
and if the scope of linked sites expands in the future, your personal information and related information can be shared
between sites where SSO service will be implemented with your consent.

You have the right to refuse consent to the Single Sign-On (SSO) service policy on the "Mokpo National University Portal",
and if consent is refused, membership registration and some Mokpo National University Portal services will be restricted.

4. Collection Method

Provision of consented member user list by the university

5. Personal Information Retention and Usage Period by Recipients

Users' personal information is used limitedly from the point of membership registration to the period of service provision.
When users request membership withdrawal or withdraw consent for the collection and use of provided personal information,
or when the purpose of collection and use is achieved or the retention and usage period expires,
the relevant user's personal information is destroyed without delay.
